A Gold Coast Day in the Life of Wild Heart Jewellery

Posted by Samara Jean on

We are lucky to call Queensland’s Gold Coast home and Wild Heart Jewellery HQ. Sun, surf and sand make up such a small part of what makes this corner of the Sunshine State the perfect spot to call home and we want to share some of our favourite places along the coast.

The Gold Coast is so much more than Surfer’s Paradise. So, pack a bag, hit the highway and make your way to the GC for a day of adventure.

First stop, we start our day with a morning walk along Burleigh Headland or a quick swim in Tally Creek or Currumbin Rocks. These are really some of the coast’s best beaches and views in our opinion!

After a swim or walk you’re going to be hungry and breakfast at Stones Throw Burleigh is our pick. The staff are lovely, it is a family run business (just like Wild Heart!) and the food and coffee are, all importantly, 10/10.

If you’ve come all this way then you have to make the most of the natural beauty on your doorstep, right? So back to the beach at Tugun. It is often one of the most empty beaches and the crystal clear water with tiny breaks makes it perfect for a few dips before lunch.

Speaking of, Love Child Miami is a new favourite of ours. They are dishing up a vegan menu that is delicious. We suggest pairing the Panko Mushroom Po Boy with the 1996 cocktail.

One of the newest hubs is the Cornerstone Stores on the Tugun / Currumbin border and we love the curation of boutiques. Kind Curations and The Borrowed Nursery are two favourites and you can always get a coffee or tea from Stable for the road.

And when the day is (almost) done it is back to the beach for a picnic to watch the sunset!
